New Destination Management Company Fills an Industry Void

San Francisco (April 22, 2004) --- Perfect World Events (PWE), a new destination management company announces the opening of its two Bay Area offices. Providing the most comprehensive services and in-depth regional experience, PWE will fill a much-needed void in the Northern California travel industry.

Perfect World Events is founded by three industry veterans. Principals Mary Carvotta, Dan Houdek and Robert Elliott bring more than 60 years of combined experience and relationships to this new venture.

Perfect World Events is a new type of destination management company, says Carvotta. We are excited to be the first DMC in the area to provide clients with the hands-on, day-to-day experience of the firm's partners. We have focused on assembling a best-of-class team that will deliver flawless program creation and execution in everything we do.

Perfect World Events has strategically placed two offices in Northern California: San Francisco and Half Moon Bay. With roots in both the city and along the coast, PWE is able to offer meeting planners the most complete services in the region. San Francisco, one of America's favorite cities plays host to millions of visitors annually, and Half Moon Bay is one of the region's emerging hotspots for luxury travel. PWE's expert staff has decades of experience creating programs specialized to the city, the Northern California coast and its surrounding areas.

Perfect World Events prides itself on its deep understanding of Northern California, says Houdek. As a locally-based company, we understand the area. We know its best restaurants, finest vendors and ultimate activities. We apply this knowledge and our strong relationships to every program, creating the perfect experience for planners and their groups.

The firm's partners bring decades of professional experience and diversity to Perfect World Events. Prior to opening PWE, Carvotta was president of a San Francisco destination management company for over eight years. Under her leadership, the company executed thousands of programs for a roster of top clients. At Perfect World Events, she will be responsible for blending client objectives with local and regional program opportunities.

Houdek brings more than 20 years of experience servicing the most discriminating clients to Perfect World Events. For the past 14 years, Houdek has worked for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and also brings an in-depth knowledge of the Northern California coast and specifically Half Moon Bay, to his newest endeavor. He will lead the company's sales efforts.

Elliott comes to PWE with more than 20 years of domestic and international event management experience and implementation. His background includes program development for notable clients such as NBC Sports, Nike, Toyota, and Anheuser-Busch. At Perfect World Events, his responsibilities will include overseeing the company's day-to-day operations, managing program development and execution and developing lifestyle marketing initiatives.
