News and Events - January 2008
As always, Perfect World Events has its pulse on the scene in Half Moon Bay.
Half Moon Bay (January 2008) --- One of our favorite restaurants for groups, the venerable Cetrella, reopened after a two week closure for a makeover. The old terra-cotta bistro look has been replaced with paler, softer colors for the walls, fabrics and counters and the bar has been expanded. The good news for diners is that the changes were limited to the restaurant’s aesthetics. The seasonal Cal-Med cooking of chef Robert Holt remains the same.
Cetrella is also contributing to six Coastside nonprofit organizations in its "Dining with a Difference" campaign. To kick things off, restaurant management will donate $5,000 to each organization. Diners can then participate by designating 10 percent of their check to one of the six charities. The campaign will last through May 31, with the goal of raising $100,000.
One of PWE’s three partners, Dan Houdek, is a resident of Half Moon Bay and spent more than 5 years serving discriminating clientele at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay. PWE is the only DMC to have an office in Half Moon Bay as we operate dozens of programs for Ritz-Carlton-based groups.
